Doctor Huong Closmann was born in a small city in Vietnam. She immigrated to the United States when she was 10 years old. Upon arrival to Denver, Colorado she was not able to speak, read or write English but she became first member of her family to earn a college and a doctorate degree. Dr. Closmann grew up in the small town of Arvada. She is married now and has two children. As a family they love to travel, hike, ski and enjoy many of the Colorado outdoor activities.

Prior to dental school, Doctor Closmann worked as a dental assistant at a pediatric dental office caring for under-served children. During that time, she developed her passion for children’s dentistry. She then received her Bachelors in Medical Science from the University of Denver and her doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. During her dental education, she completed multiple externships in general practice residency. Her favorite externship was when she traveled to Alaska and provided dental care to many in rural areas.

Doctor Closmann values establishing long-term relationships with her patients. She emphasizes education, quality care, and the importance of public service in the practice. She creates a fun and positive environment to each patient and their family’s needs. She is compassionate and gentle and explains all details related to the visit and the patient’s treatment goals. She loves seeing her patients grow and enjoy coming to the pediatric dentist in Aurora.
